How do we know? Because Shayna grew up in that firm (or one just like it). And while growing up in her parents’ accounting firm poured an amazing foundation of knowledge for core accounting and tax concepts, today’s successful accounting firms are very different. Like any business, accounting firms that don’t evolve won’t succeed.
How do we do that? We comb through the latest technology to comply with the newest rules and trends to give your business the edge it deserves. We focus on proactive advice, not reactive. With the technology available today, there is no reason not to have the information you need to make critical decisions at the drop of a hat.
In addition to being a CPA, Shayna is a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA), which basically means she knows what she’s doing when it comes to technology in the accounting field.

While we have developed some specialty niches like rental real estate and professional services clients over the years, it’s more about the philosophy and approach of being open to investing in and using technology to improve processes and the bottom line. It’s about playing an active role in your business, listening to our advice and instruction, and valuing it. We don’t take ourselves too seriously around here, but we are indeed serious about our clients, services, work product, and the type of people we like to work with. What we won’t do is waste your time pretending we can take care of you just to earn a few bucks. If we are not a fit, we’ll be happy to see if we can direct you to someone who is.
